Pain Expo 2009
In 2003, after undergoing brain surgery in an attempt to relieve pain he had suffered for more than 25 years, Rowe Jones had a revelation to help the millions of Americans with chronic pain. With his wife, Ashley, he founded Happy with Pain. Happy with Pain is the name of the parent company and a self-help program that features live seminars, developmental products and other real-time tools to enhance the lives of those in pain.
In October of 2007 their vision continued as the first ever Pain Expo was held.
As Rowe states, “We had a desire to bring people together and offer them life changing information. They could also share time with others in pain and the healthcare professionals who treat pain.”
Pain Expo featured many of the top medical experts in health and chronic pain including Mehmet Oz, MD, a best-selling author and a regular on Oprah. The event hit its mark as 90% of those polled said the event was “good or excellent” and 98% said “yes” (86%) or “maybe” (12%) that they would attend again.
Ashley commented, “Change comes through information and Pain Expo clearly brings a change to the lives of those who attend.”
Pain Expo ‘09 is a two-day event to benefit pain sufferers and the medical professionals who treat them. The event features some of the top minds in the world in health and motivation. The overall purpose of Pain Expo ‘09 is to offer a wealth of cutting edge information to patient and doctor in a unique forum.
